INDIAN SECULARISM means
1. Respecting Other Religions
2. All Religions lead to God but paths are different.
3. Religious Inclusiveness
In one word secularism means INCLUSIVENESS in a higher dimensional definition of Indian perspective. We can divide our society into 4 sections majorly
1. Communism
2. Christianity
3. Islam
4. Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism
COMMUNISTS don’t believe in GOD. The communism doctrine clearly says to achieve the final goal one has to take weapons and suppress non believers to reach their goal. In this ideology, they don’t accept anyone who don’t believe in their thought process. Communism can’t exist with other belief system at the end. Exclusive nature.
CHRISTIAN denominations assert that they alone represent the one true God. They don’t accept any other form of God. Only One God is there in the universe and the path to reach god is ONLY ONE way, that is through Christianity. They Cant accept other faiths. Their philosophy is Sinners vs Non Sinners. All who don’t believe are Sinners.
ISLAM believe that theirs is the original and primordial faith, or fitrah, that was revealed to Muhammad. Muslims maintain that previous messages and revelations have been partially changed or corrupted over time and consider the Quran to be the unaltered and the final revelation from Allah. According to them the society is divided as Believers and Kafirs.
HINDUISM is more or less a way of life. Article 25 treats "Hindus" as sections of Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Sikhs. Hinduism is not a brittle simplicity; it is a complex range of profound thoughts. It is for that very reason, INCLUSIVErather than EXCLUSIVE. It is eclectic rather than intolerant. This philosophy believes all religions are good & same and every path lead to same god.
Who is INCLUSIVE and who is EXCLUSIVE ? Who is intolerant i am leaving that to readers to judge.
Religious Right and Left in india. Indian leftists are mainly filled with communists, Abrahamic followers and from their doctrine we can clearly see that they are more intolerant and can’t accept a inclusive society, they are the real intolerants and hate mongers. Right wingers in India are Hindus and If a person is a right winger in india, he is a natural and true secularist.
Economic Left and Right clearly defined. Left supports socialist market policies and right supports free market economy.
Political Left and Right Wing is also clear, Both Right and Left wingers support democracy. Extreme Left wingers like Moists and Naxals believe in autocratic governments and very few supporters are there in this spectrum.
