Public Sector Units and Privatisation

After Independence of 1947, our leaders chose Socialism and Everything was under Government Control. Private Industries were discouraged. Manufacturing from a Small Pin to Big AirPlanes were under Government Clutches.

Because of this policy our Country Got Jumbo Cabinets with so many Ministries Doing Business than Governance.

Look at our Ministries

  1. Textile Ministry to take care of textile business
  2. Steel Ministry to take care of govt steel factories
  3. Heavy Industry Ministry to take car of Govt Heavy Industries
  4. Small and Medium Industry Ministry to take care of Govt factories
  5. Aviation Ministry to take care of Air india, Indian Airlines, Airports
  6. Shipping Ministry to take care Indian Ports and Govt Ships
  7. Chemical Ministry to take care of Govt Chemical factories
  8. Petroleum Ministry to take care of HP, BP, IOCL and all oil businesses of govt
  9. Communication Ministry to take care of BSNL and other telecom businesses
  10. Railway Ministry is to take care of Railway business

Many of more Ministries are there, Banks, Insurance, Scooters, Watches, Tractors …..List goes on and on … as so many ministries are created to take care of so many businesses of Government. More than 300+ government run companies are there.

Lawmakers are the Business owners instead of running the actual government. The government used to be a full house business group. Politicians are the Owners of these companies for 5 years. Without investing single paisa and any business expereince they become the owners or CEOs.

To run these companies Jumbo Recruitment of IAS officers is additional burden on People. These officers also Without investing or working in business, becomes Business Managers and CEOs just by studing some competetive exam courses.

Maximum Government and Minimum Governance was the motto of our earlier Government.

Modi says he want to go towards Minimum Government and Maximum Governance. Hope He reaches his goal for the betterment of india soon.

Actually all these ministries can be run by private entrepreneurs by risking their time, effort and capital. Govt can simply move out of these business and leave it to the better experienced people from the industry.

Govt Role is to give a level playing ground to all the players and maintain rules, regulations and laws related to the industry. Just have Regulatory Authority for all the respective Industries.

This reduces Political corruption also as politicians cannot become a owner of any free company, they won’t spend money to get elected and they will have no interest to earn money on this path. Business minded politicians will do real business and service minded people will come forward and make laws and rules. Corruption will reduce automatically and drastically.

Have a minimum governement with External Affairs, Home Minstry, Finance Ministry, Defence Ministry, Law Ministry and Few More and Bring down the Cabinet to Below 10 Ministers. The day we reach that, Country will be a developed country and Political & Burocratic Corruption also will come down automatically.

No Socialism, Free Markets are the KEY to Develop the Country and Bring Down the Corruption.

Indian Secularism

The word SECULARISM is imported to India from the West and modified totally in India, so Let us not go by the actual definition of European Secularism. Only discuss on indian secularism.
